WiscAMP Scholars Program
The WiscAMP Scholars Program supports underrepresented minority students who plan to transfer from Madison College to four-year colleges or universities in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) to complete baccalaureate degrees. The program is for full-time students (12 credit minimum) who are in their final year at Madison College and includes mentoring support, internship opportunities, and an annual stipend.
- Eligibility
1. U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
2. Full-time student (12 credit minimum) in your final year at Madison College.3. Member of one of the following minority groups: Native American, Alaska Native, Black or African American, Hispanic or Latino, Native of Guam, Samoa or other Pacific Island.
4. Plan to transfer to a four-year college into one of the STEM disciplines listed under Majors.
5. Completed six transfer-level credits with a grade of B or better in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.6. Completed college algebra or higher by the end of the current semester. Placement testing into Trigonometry or higher in math is also acceptable.
7. Earn a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
