Volunteer Center
Madison College's Volunteer Center is a student-led organization that provides volunteer service learning opportunities for students while helping meet community needs.
The Volunteer Center meets monthly. Please see WolfPack Connect for upcoming meeting dates and locations. All members of the Madison College community are welcome to attend.
The Volunteer Center also hosts special events. These one-time volunteer opportunities are a chance for students to connect with the community, even with a busy schedule.
Each fall and spring term, the Volunteer Center holds a Volunteer Fair, where representatives from community-based organizations come to share information about their work and opportunities to get involved.
The Volunteer Center partners with UW-Madison, Edgewood College, and United Way of Dane County to coordinate Volunteer Your Time, which offers a clearinghouse of service opportunities in Dane County.
You can set up a one-on-one advising appointment with staff or student leaders from the Volunteer Center using this pre-advising form. The Volunteer Center will work with you to find volunteer opportunities that fit your interests and schedule.
Are you a student volunteer who wants to share your story? The Volunteer Center shares Volunteer Spotlights to highlight what students have learned through their volunteer experiences. Fill out the online submission form to share your story.
You can subscribe to the Volunteer Center e-mail newsletter to get periodic updates about events, opportunities, and programs.
