A message from Dr. Tim Casper

Our commitment to your health and safety
As Fall semester begins, know that all of us at Madison College are eager to see you again. This is true whether your classes take you to campus, to virtual classrooms or a combination of both. We are grateful that you have chosen to include Madison College on the path to your dreams.
I’m reaching out to you personally to acknowledge the remaining uncertainty that looms around COVID-19, specifically the more contagious Delta variant.
Please know that your health and safety drive everything we do. We are taking utmost precaution to protect you—including frequent cleaning and enhanced air handling measures—and we urge you to take an active role in keeping Madison College safe for all of us:
We are all required to wear a face covering inside all Madison College facilities
Wash and/or sanitize your hands frequently
When possible, respect a physical distance of 3-to-6 feet from others
Vaccinations are proven to protect against COVID-19. In the rare cases of breakthrough infections, those who are vaccinated tend to experience less severe symptoms and fewer hospitalizations.
Madison College is hosting a FREE vaccination clinic on campus this week
Wednesday, Aug. 25, 1-5 p.m., Truax Campus, Gateway
If you cannot attend these, visit vaccines.gov for help finding a vaccine.
When we all follow safety precautions and follow guidelines set forth by public health experts, we are showing respect not only for ourselves, but for our classmates, community members and families.
We support you and wish you great success. I wish you a positive and healthy Fall semester!
