You are considered an undeclared or course-taking student if you intend on taking classes but do not plan on completing a program or earning a credential.

Register as a Course-taking or Undeclared Student

Follow these steps to the register as a course taking or undeclared student.

Know When to Register

Continuing undeclared students, who are already taking classes but not admitted into a program, have a priority enrollment date and can register before open enrollment.

Undeclared students who are not already taking classes can enroll during Open Enrollment.

General enrollment dates can be found listed on the Academic Calendar and you can view your Enrollment Appointment in myMadisonCollege.

Search for Classes to Enroll In

You can search for classes, but you must login to register.

*Please note any prerequisites needed for enrollment. You may need submit test scores or take a placement test before you are able to register.

*If you receive an error message when trying to access Class Search, please exit your browser and clear your cache, or try using a different web browser.

Military Service Member Priority Registration

If you are an active-duty military service member or a veteran, you may request an earlier registration date by submitting a Military Service Priority Registration Request Form (PDF).
