Complete the Madison College Admissions Application

  • Be enrolled in 6 or more credits for the upcoming semester

In addition to the requirements listed above, new Madison College students must also:

  2. Complete the general application in your scholarship portal.
  3. After submitting a general application, there will be a prompt to apply for more scholarship opportunities by answering additional questions.

When You Receive a Scholarship

  • You will receive an official offer email to your Madison College email address with details of your award and instructions for accepting it.
  • Submit a thank you letter to your scholarship donor.
  • The Madison College Foundation Office notifies the Financial Aid Office of the award.
  • The scholarship will be disbursed after the Pell Recalculation Date. The scholarship amount will apply directly to your student account to pay toward any remaining balances. You will receive a refund if the scholarship is more than the amount you owe to the college.
  • For existing financial aid awards, adjustments may take place. The amount may be reduced or canceled if you receive additional funds (grants, loans, or scholarships) that are not on your award. Always contact the Financial Aid Office of any other aid not listed on your award. The Financial Aid Office will help you avoid having to repay for financial aid due to being over-awarded.
