Get Ready to Vote: Special Primary Election Feb. 21

The Wisconsin Spring and Special Primary Election is coming up on Tuesday, February 21! Take a moment to get ready to vote.
1. Check your registration status ASAP to make sure it matches your current address: myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Register-To-Vote.
- Still need to register to vote? You can register online until Feb. 1, 2023 for Special Primary Election.
- You can also register in person wherever you vote on Election Day.
2. Request your mail-in absentee ballot
- Any voter in your state can request an absentee/mail-in ballot. You can request an absentee/mail-in ballot online: myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Vote-Absentee-By-Mail
- It’s recommended to request your absentee/mail-in ballot at least two weeks before the Thursday, February 16 deadline to make sure you have time to receive and cast your ballot before the election.
3. Make a plan to vote in person.
- Did you know you can vote early from Tuesday, February 7 to Sunday, February 19? (Dates and times may vary by location.) Learn more about where you can vote early in your area: myvote.wi.gov/en-us/Vote-Absentee-In-Person. City of Madison residents can vote early at the Truax or Goodman South campus from Feb. 13 – 17, 11 am – 3:30 pm weekdays.
