This course provides the opportunity for the learner to develop the skills needed and the ability to prepare for and pass the State of Wisconsin Journeyman or Master Exam test. Both Part 1 and Part 2 are needed to prepare for the exam.Soares Grounding and Bonding
This class is a must for those who wish to keep informed and increase their expertise in the grounding and bonding of electrical systems. This course is based on the authoritative text IAEI Soares Book on Grounding which clearly explains the fundamentals and practice of grounding and bonding in easily understood language, guiding learners through the language and intent of the National Electrical Code, NEC-2017. Course is approved for 14 CEU credits for those licensed in Wisconsin.
Professional and Continuing Education is proud to collaborate with Lab Midwest and Amatrol technical training systems to offer highly interactive eLearning modules. Classes offered include technical training in the high-demand areas of electrical, electronics and control systems.
This training, which includes 3D graphics and skills assessments, is all online via Google Chrome or Firefox browsers. Class prerequisites are indicated. Allow up to two business days to receive your course login information via email. Courses must be completed within two months of registration.

AC/DC Electrical course teaches fundamentals of AC/DC electrical systems used for power and control in industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential applications using Amatrol’s virtual training technology. Students learn industry- relevant skills included in subject areas such as Basic Electrical Circuits, Electrical measurement, Circuit Analysis, Inductance and Capacitance, Combination Circuits, and Transformers.AC/DC Electrical Systems is a prerequisite for the following classes:

Electric motor control teaches electric relay control of AC electric motors found in industrial, commercial, and residential applications. Learners gain understanding of the operation, installation, design, and troubleshooting of AC electric motor control circuits for many common applications. Develops skills in interpreting schematics, system design, motor start / stop circuits, motor sequence control, reversing motor control, and motor jogging. Safety is emphasized throughout, highlighting motor safety, lockout/ tagout and safety interlocks.
Electric Motor Control is a prerequisite for the following classes:
