Student volunteers can celebrate their community contributions through a service award.
The Volunteer Center is a certifying organization for the President's Volunteer Service Awards. These awards are administered nationally by AmeriCorps in partnership with Points of Light.
The Volunteer Center also offers an International Student Volunteer Award to international students who complete similar award criteria.
How to Qualify
To qualify for the award, you must:
- Track your hours on the Madison College WolfPack Connect app.
- Once you have served 100 or more approved service hours within 12 months, contact the Volunteer Center.
- Complete the online verification form, then apply.
Awards are presented each spring semester during the Student Success Banquet.
What You’ll Receive
President’s Volunteer Service Award recipients will receive:
- The official President's Volunteer Service Award pin or medal.
- A digital badge from Madison College's Digital Credentials Institute.
- A personalized certificate of achievement.
- A congratulatory letter from the President of the United States.
International Student Service Award recipients will receive:
- A personalized certificate of achievement and a medal.
- A digital badge from Madison College's Digital Credentials Institute.
- A congratulatory letter from Dr. Daniels, the President of Madison College.
