Most programming is completed in the Center for Health and Well-Being room 100A Health Building in the Health Education Building. Some events, such as blood drives or flu clinics may occur in other locations on our campuses. 

PHEs may also work in the Cupboard Student Food Pantries at Truax and Goodman South Campuses.

Become a Peer Health Educator (PHE)

Student Health hires Peer Health Educators to help support Student Health during the fall/spring semesters to present wellness and health programming to the Madison College community. As a PHE, you can expect to:

  • Engage with classmates in interactive presentations that focus on topics for maintaining a healthy college lifestyle.  
  • Learn leadership presentation skills and career development for success in health education.  

There are four paid positions hired for PHE: 

  • PHE-Mental Health 
  • PHE-Marketing and Communication 
  • PHE-Cupboard Food Pantry 
  • PHE-Events Coordinator
