The School of Nursing offers both Associate and Technical Diploma options for students to jumpstart their career in healthcare. Our programs prepare students to obtain the knowledge and proper licensure required by employers throughout Wisconsin by offering three different programs to students: Associate Degree Nursing, Practical Nursing and Nursing Assistant. All programs offer students the opportunity to explore the healthcare industry and open doors to future degree advancement outside of Madison College as healthcare professionals.

School of Nursing Student Handbook
The School of Nursing has created a Student Handbook filled with information on curriculum, program requirements, academic and enrollment policies, licensing, forms and other important resources for School of Nursing students.
Nursing Program Policies
Wisconsin law requires background checks for persons who provide care for others or have access to people who receive care. This law applies to students in many School of Nursing programs. Please review the Caregiver Background Check information and other Nursing Program Policies.
